Senior Actuarial Consultant (Job Code: SAC)
Join a world class team of experts in catastrophe risk assessment, catastrophe modeling and risk management. Collaborate in the development of cutting edge tools to analyze and improve catastrophe exposure data and loss estimates. Work with senior executives to help them better understand and manage potential losses from future catastrophic events.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, actuarial science or statistics
- At least three years of work experience in actuarial consulting
- Experience working with state regulators and rating agencies
- Demonstrated project management experience in a professional environment
- Experience performing statistical analyses on large data sets
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- An entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
- Knowledge of the catastrophe risk management field including hands-on experience with AIR, RMS or EQE software products is a plus
- Membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society, FCAS preferred

Senior Risk Analyst (Job Code: SRA)

Collaborate in the development of cutting edge tools and services to analyze and improve catastrophe exposure data and loss estimates. Work with major corporations to help them better assess, understand, and manage their potential losses from future catastrophic events.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A graduate degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, physics or engineering
- At least three years of work experience involving data analysis and/or statistical modeling
- At least two years of work experience in the catastrophe risk management field including hands-on experience with AIR, RMS or EQE software products
- Demonstrated project management experience in a professional environment
- Experience manipulating large data sets using statistical packages and MS Access or SQL
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- An entrepreneurial drive and work ethic

Senior Software Application Developer (Job Code: SSAD)
Join an exciting entrepreneurial start-up company and develop commercial software product applications and tools using the latest Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies for the insurance industry. Products and tools consist of complex data and analytical web, web service and Windows applications. Work on all aspects of the applications including the user interface, middle layer and back end databases.
Responsibilities:
- Help define the software and data system architecture
- Design, implement and test web and Windows application user interfaces in ASP.NET and WinForms.
- Design, implement and test web service interfaces in C#.NET
- Design, implement and test middle layer C#.NET software components
- Design, implement and test back end databases and stored procedures
- Implement tools for data conversion and data analysis
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience in Microsoft technologies
- 4+ years of development experience in VB.NET/C#.NET
- 3+ years of development experience in ASP.NET and Web Services
- 3+ years of development experience Javascript, CSS and HTML
- 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for high quality work
Education:
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent
- MS degree in computer science is a plus
