Hurricane Harvey - Impacts and KCC Flash Estimate

Hurricane Harvey was the first Category 4 storm to make landfall in the US since Charley (2004) and made two landfalls along the Gulf Coast in Texas and Louisiana. In addition to wind speeds as high as 132 mph, Hurricane Harvey brought heavy and persistent precipitation to southeast Texas, resulting in significant flooding impacts.
