Hurricane Irma - Impacts and KCC Flash Estimates

Hurricane Irma was the second Category 4 hurricane to make landfall in the US in less than a month, and the first Category 4 landfall since Charley (2004). Peak winds lasted for a record-breaking 37 hours as Irma tracked through the Caribbean. The majority of US losses are expected to occur in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama.
